macOS Tahoe
macOS Tahoe is the upcoming major release of macOS for Apple desktops and laptops.
Technically, macOS Tahoe is the 15th major release of macOS, but following recently announced rebranding, it’s going to be called macOS 26.
As of June 2025, macOS Tahoe is in beta. Specifically, it’s available as developers beta.
Depending on your setup, you can get it by activating the Developer Beta channel in the Software Update preferences:
